Our vision for the future is that every looked after child and young person in East Ayrshire receives the same love, support and opportunities we would want for our own children.
To help us get there, we need people who can provide a safe and stable home in which a child can learn, grow and thrive, as well as the ‘little things’ that make them feel valued.
This could be:
- a Friday treat in their lunchbox
- a hot drink and a hug after school
- playing their favourite board game together
- letting them pick what film to watch on a Saturday night
It could even be as simple as taking the time to talk to them about their day.
