Last year we reviewed our Capital Investment Programme in relation to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the construction industry has had another very challenging year with supply chain issues and material shortages as well as positive cases, self-isolation and continued mitigation measures, continuing to affect project timescales.

Going forward, our Capital Programme Projects will continue to reflect the priorities of recovery and renewal.

Children and young people projects

Projects include schools and early years investment.

Economy and environment projects

Projects include economic development, Ayrshire Growth Deal, town centre regeneration, waste management and carbon reduction.

Wellbeing projects

Projects include housing, community, leisure and health and social care.

Cabinet: 23 February 2022
