In our budget preparations, we have been working to ensure that our services are financially sustainable into the future and that we continue to use our resources wisely.
This year, we have made further efficiency savings through internal management actions that do not affect frontline services. This also means that we can invest further in our wellbeing, recovery and renewal priorities.
The process of service redesign, already well established through our Transformation Strategy, will continue so that wherever possible, we are able to reduce unnecessary spend by becoming more efficient and by doing things differently.
We also need to look carefully at ways to increase our income, taking into account any impact on our communities.
