To drive our recovery and renewal, we also plan significant infrastructure investment over the coming years in new housing, roads, schools, villages and town centres, all of which are fundamental for strong and vibrant communities. This will mean over £1billion in funding has been committed to infrastructure projects in East Ayrshire involving the design, construction, renovation and replacement of our physical assets, property and facilities.

Current examples include the construction and refurbishment of schools, town centre and village regeneration plans, new housing developments and an improved roads network.

The benefits arising from these developments will make a huge difference to people's lives across East Ayrshire.
