The Scottish Government’s spending and taxation plans for the coming year were announced on Thursday 28 January. These will see a continued focus on our recovery and renewal from the COVID-19 pandemic. They include significant investment to drive economic recovery, bolster public services and support families and communities.

Our budget plans for 2021/22 are currently being finalised and will be presented to Council for Elected Member approval in March 2021. These will show how we will deliver a balanced budget and also set out our ambitious plans for the future. They will reaffirm the significant level of investment in our key services that support our communities and put people and communities at the heart of our recovery and renewal.

Importantly, we need to hear about what matters to you to inform our budget plans. We want to know what you think about our recovery and renewal priorities and what more we can do together to rebuild our communities.

We hope that you will join our budget conversations to share your thought and ideas with us and make your Vibrant Voices heard.
