We operate a gum removal programme throughout our town centres.
Traditionally high pressure water jetting has been used, however this can damage the surface and cause problems such as dislodging paving. We now have environmentally friendly equipment which removes chewing gum from internal and external hard surfaces and matting, leaving the surface completely free of unsightly dried gum.
These units are designed to clean where neither power or a water supply is available. They are mounted in a galvanised trailer and body work to prevent any metal corrosion. Inside this body work is a water tank allowing up to 4 hours of constant use. The steam generator is driven by a diesel engine. It can provide cold, hot water and steam up to 150ºC under a variable controlled pressure up to 2950psi (200 Bar).
