We are responsible for tree maintenance within the land we manage.
We undertake yearly checks of trees on our land and properties for defects and dead wood and if problems are identified we place these trees on a maintenance program. These may include:
- trees close to busy A and B class roads and street side treest
- trees within parks or schools
- trees within other Council property such as offices, libraries and leisure facilities
In addition we will check other trees, such as those in Council housing estates, for problems, on request.
If you notice a tree which is dangerously overhanging a footpath or road please report it to us and we will take action to remedy the situation.
