To help close the £8 million budget gap for next year our services have identified a range of expenditure reduction options totalling £4.070 million. 

These are set out in our Revenue Budget Update Report (PDF 986Kb).

The following information will help you understand our budget and the options that we propose to take to close the gap and set a balanced budget: 

How to have your say

Our budget engagement process will run from 18 January to 1 February 2023 inclusive.

We are keen to hear your views on the challenges facing the Council, where we can go to reduce our costs and on the options we need to close the 2023/24 budget gap.

We will make sure that your comments are reviewed and used to inform the 2023/24 Budget that will be set on 23 February 2023.
