Business Support is provided by our Economic Development Service. As well as supporting local business to grow and create jobs, we look to:

Wellbeing support

Providing wellbeing support to businesses within East Ayrshire is key to better work and working lives.

An effective workplace wellbeing programme can deliver mutual benefit to people, organisations, economies and communities resulting in greater employee engagement and lower absence rates.

Suicide is one of the main causes of death among people in Scotland today that could be prevented, with two people dying by suicide each day.

Wellbeing support is also available for anyone who lives or works in Ayrshire and is struggling with health and work. Find out more about the Working for a Healthy Economy project, including how to access the service.
