Course information
We hosted our fourth and final training course for this year on Wednesday 27 September 2023, Traditional Signwriting Course hosted within Mauchline Parish Church Hall.
This course was inspired by signage and lettering of historic frontages, including ghost signs. Attendees learned about the history of sign painting and the main brush strokes used in signwriting, along with some useful tips and recommendations from our specialist including; reference books, tools and supplies. At the end of the workshop, each attendee took home their own hand-painted sign!
