Property Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the Council’s property portfolio is repaired and maintained efficiently and effectively in order that the various departments of the Council can operate in buildings fit for purpose.
Monitor and report contractor quality and performance on orders and ensure that works are completed in accordance with the contract and to the highest standards.
Regular property inspections are carried out by staff members to record and monitor the condition of the property and to identify, at the earliest opportunity, defects that could lead to the deterioration of the building fabric.
