The Engineering Services Team provides engineering advice to the Council and is responsible for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and energy engineering. It also has Health and Safety, Construction Design and Management (CDM) and Asbestos responsibilities.
The team undertakes schemes for proposed engineering/construction projects.
The Engineering Services team consists of seven professional engineers covering the various disciplines. Health and safety and asbestos issues are covered by three further professionals specifically trained in construction issues.
We seek to provide a high quality, flexible and responsive service to ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and meet the quality and operational requirements of the client department.
