Receiving an email by mistake

If you receive an email by mistake, please let us know by emailing mailadmin@east-ayrshire.gov.uk and delete all copies of it from your system.

Using or acting on the information if you are not the intended recipient is not allowed.

Scanning emails for viruses

We scan incoming and outgoing emails and attachments for viruses, but we cannot guarantee they are completely virus-free, and will not accept any responsibility for viruses.

We also cannot ensure the message stays unchanged after it leaves our network, so please make sure your own antivirus software is up-to-date before opening emails.

Monitoring email content

We monitor incoming and outgoing emails for inappropriate content, but the views in them may not reflect those of the Council. We’re not responsible for any loss or harm caused by the content of an email.

Contacting us

We aim to respond to all correspondence within seven working days. If we need more time, we will let you know. Please note that different rules may apply to social work services.
