Integration Joint Board (IJB) meetings are held regularly through the year to make decisions on business and operational matters relating to the delivery of health and social care services within East Ayrshire.

In addition to the nominated representatives from East Ayrshire Council, an NHS Ayrshire and Arran Board member is also in attendance along with the IJB Chief Officer (and Director of East Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership), the Chief Financial Officer to the IJB, Council and NHS professional advisors, representatives from the third sector and representatives from people and carers who use our services.

The meetings are also open to members of the public. Any request to attend can be made by email to: HSCPadmin@east-ayrshire.gov.uk.

The Integration Joint Board Stakeholder Forum

To facilitate community participation, understanding and contribution, an Integration Joint Board Stakeholder Forum has been established.

Applications to join this Forum or requests for more information can be made by email to: HSCPadmin@east-ayrshire.gov.uk.

The Forum meets in advance of the IJB meetings to discuss the papers that will be submitted to the full IJB meeting. This allows Forum members the opportunity to comment, provide feedback and to identify matters arising from the papers which they wish the IJB to address.

Forum members are drawn from individuals with an interest in health and social care, from the care sector and from third sector organisations. As such, members represent the views of the people who use the services and their carers.

Minutes of each meeting are produced and can be viewed, along with the papers submitted to the IJB.

IJB summary reports

A summary report is produced after each Integration Joint Board meeting which captures the issues discussed and their outcome. These summary reports can be viewed below:
