The Communication Strategy is the document which details how the Integration Joint Board (IJB) will share its vision and values with employees, partners, residents and local communities.

This Strategy is also intended to contribute to the achievement of the national health and wellbeing outcomes for the Health and Social Care Partnership and be able to evidence how a range of communication messages, mediums and approaches support wellbeing in communities.

This will support the Strategic Plan by providing clear communication messages on how the IJB delivers the health and social care services within the resources it has been allocated and also its 15 Health and Wellbeing Outcomes.

The Communication Strategy is for one year initially and then will be aligned with the third Strategic Plan, from 2021-24.

This draft Communication Strategy was approved by the IJB at their meeting on 27 November 2019 and was then made available to residents in East Ayrshire for comments and feedback from 19 December 2019 until 28 February 2020 by completing a questionnaire. Hard copies were also made available at the offices below. Revisions were made to the draft based on the comments received and the finalised Communications Strategy document can be viewed on the Governance documents page.
