The Communication Strategy is the document which details how the Integration Joint Board (IJB) will share its vision and values with employees, partners, residents and local communities.
This Strategy is also intended to contribute to the achievement of the national health and wellbeing outcomes for the Health and Social Care Partnership and be able to evidence how a range of communication messages, mediums and approaches support wellbeing in communities.
This will support the Strategic Plan by providing clear communication messages on how the IJB delivers the health and social care services within the resources it has been allocated.
The Communication Strategy is for one year initially and then will be aligned with the third Strategic Plan, from 2021-24.
This draft Communication Strategy was approved by the IJB at their meeting on 27 November 2019 and is now open for comments and feedback. The survey period will be open from 19 December 2019 until 28 February 2020.
