Housing land audit 2025
The Housing Land Audit (HLA) 2025 is an assessment of the housing land supply in the East Ayrshire Council area as at 31 March 2025. The audit identifies and provides a programme of expected housing delivery over a ten-year period to 2034/5.
The HLA 2025 was produced in collaboration with Homes for Scotland and no sites are disputed. It was agreed by Cabinet on 11 February 2026.
The audit follows the updated Scottish Government Guidance on Housing Land Audits, published in January 2025. The HLA 2025 therefore follows on from the Council’s 2023 audit – all reporting years have been accounted for.
