On 11 March 2026, Cabinet approved the East Ayrshire Development Plan Scheme 2026, subject to consultation on the participation statement.
The Development Plan Scheme sets out the timetable for the preparation of Local Development Plan 3 (LDP3). It will be reviewed, updated and published annually, to keep everyone updated on progress with the Plan.
Consultation on the participation statement will run from Friday 20 March to Friday 10 April 2026.
