Student mentoring

We welcome students from the Colleges of Initial Training Education (ITE) and probationer teachers.  An officer from our Educational Service liaises with the colleges to manage the Student Mentoring Programme.

This is co-ordinated with neighbouring authorities through the Gateway programme which is a consortium of local authorities working together to manage the mentoring scheme for the benefit of the students, schools and local authority.
