Council Tax generates almost 20% of our annual Council income and last year raised £60.3 million. Each 0.2% rise in Council Tax equates to £120k of additional Council income.
Last year, Council Tax rose by 4% and a similar level of increase is likely this year to offset budget reductions and sustain our services.
