We are working in partnership with the NHS Ayrshire and Arran to deliver the Weigh to Go programme East Ayrshire.
The programme is suitable for anyone with a BMI over 28 and will give you advice on having a healthier lifestyle through positive eating habits and increased physical activity.
We deliver Weigh to Go over 12 weeks as group sessions. Each week covers a different topic such as proteins, fats and hidden sugars. We also include a 45 minute session of activity that is suitable for all levels.
Another option is a more condensed programme delivering six sessions one-to-one where we can sit with you and discuss healthy eating and work out goals for you to achieve.
We would also encourage you to increase your physical activity by attending one of our health walks or try an exercise class. We will follow up after six months and a year to ensure you are still maintaining those changes.
