Community based adult learning opportunities for unemployed people are provided to enable them to take the first step back into employment or education.
Employability courses are provided in partnership with Ayrshire College and the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) and other third party organisations. We also provide training and support in digital literacies to enable adults to make effective use of digital technologies in their work, family, community and personal lives.
Tutor supported work clubs are provided to support unemployed people's access to PCs to allow them to fulfil their DWP claimant agreements and support Universal Credit requirements.
We provide support to people to improve their digital skills, using a computer is a skill required for 21st century living and digital skills are necessary for everyone to be able to be an inclusive member of society.
