We aim to divert as much waste as possible from landfill, reducing both the environmental impacts arising from your business and your disposal costs. We offer this service to businesses throughout East Ayrshire.
We supply collection containers available in a range of sizes to accommodate your business needs and we can tailor how often we uplift your waste to suit your requirements.
Pollution control
Our Environmental Health service is responsible for pollution control. Our team comprises a Team Leader, Environmental Health Officers and Technicians. They also look after Pest Control and Dog Warden Services.
Commercial recycling
We aim to help you increase the amount of waste you recycle from your business. We offer a commercial recyclate collection service for food, paper, cardboard, glass and cans, with our plastics collection service developing during 2016 - contact us for details.
Our recyclate collection costs less than collection charges for general (landfill) commercial waste. We have Zero Waste Officers who can assist your business in developing a tailored, cost effective and efficient solution.
If a collection service is not what your business requires, Commercial Permits enable businesses to dispose of their recyclate at the Western Road Recycling Centre in Kilmarnock and at the Recycling centre at Skares near Cumnock.
