All planning applications for alterations and extensions made within an enclosed garden area (curtilage) of a dwelling house, including flats, should be accompanied by completed householder forms.

Planning fees

Regulations for planning fees are available at The Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2026.

These Regulations amend The Town and country Planning (Fees for Applications) (Scotland) Regulations 2022 and should therefore be read together.
