Existing Conservation Area Appraisals provide an analysis of the character and appearance of the conservation areas of Kilmarnock, Cumnock, Galston, Dalmellington and Catrine and identifies the important features that should be preserved and enhanced. These documents provide a framework for the positive management of the areas and sets out planning and implementation guidelines for future development.
