This post plays a key role in ensuring that social work community health and care employees’ learning and development needs are met. The post-holder will have lead responsibility for the identification of professional/technical learning and development needs for this employee group . They will work alongside operational managers to agree learning outcomes for the workforce and will be responsible for designing, developing and facilitating learning and development activities to address these identified development needs.
Applicants applying for this post must hold a professional social work qualification such as a SW Degree/ SW (Hons.) Degree or Diploma in Social Work (Dip.SW)
Contribute to the work of the Social Work Learning and Development Team with a specific focus on delivering the development needs of allocated workforce service teams ensuring a co-ordinated approach to the delivery of programmes that support employee registration and post-registration requirements with the Scottish Social Services Council in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Health and Social Care Service Plan and the Community Plan.
This is a full time permanent post bases within H & SCP, Training at Johnnie Walker Bond, Kilmarnock.
Salary £38,093 - £40,404
