Washing machines
All redundant white goods should be recycled. Take these to your nearest Recycling Centre free of charge or contact us for a special uplift (a charge applies).
Weeds
These can be placed in your brown bin for composting. Japanese Knotweed should not be placed in the brown bin.
Windows/plate glass
Please place into your landfill bin ( green bin). If you are limited by the size please take it to your nearest Recycling Centre. Please note that contractors should remove all waste material if new windows are being installed.
Wine bottles
Please place these into your recycling trolley (bottom box) for recycling.
Wood chips
These can be put in your brown bin for composting. However, do not fill the full bin as it will become too heavy to lift and empty.
Wood and timber
Wood (including chipboard and laminate) and other timbers can be taken to your nearest Recycling Centres.
