Washing machines

All redundant white goods should be recycled. You can take these to:

• your nearest  Recycling Centre free of charge, or
• contact us for a  special uplift (charges apply)

Weeds

These can be placed in your brown bin for composting. Please note that Japanese Knotweed should not be placed in the brown bin.

Windows/plate glass

You can take this to your nearest  Recycling Centre

Please note that contractors should remove all waste material if new windows are being installed.

Wine bottles

Please put these into your:

• purple-top bin if you are using the new bin collection service
• recycling trolley (bottom box), or
• take these to your nearest  Recycling Centre or local Recycling Point

Wood chips

These can be put into your brown bin for composting. Please do not fill the full bin as it will become too heavy to lift and empty.

Wood and timber

Wood, including chipboard, laminate and other timbers, can be taken to your nearest  Recycling Centre.
