Garden chemicals
Garden chemicals are hazardous waste. We do not accept garden chemicals at our Recycling Centres.
Garden waste
Your brown bin can be used to recycle general green garden waste such as:
- grass cuttings
- prunings
- weeds
- flowers
- hedge clippings
Residents can also recycle excess green garden waste at our Recycling Centres. You may also wish to consider trying home composting.
Gas cylinders
Gas cylinders can be taken to your nearest Recycling Centre.
Glass
Small quantities of broken glass can be placed in your green bin. Please either wrap in paper or bag it.
