Instances of neighbour nuisance and antisocial behaviour are relatively few. However, when they do occur they can have serious consequences not only for the persons directly affected but also for the wider community.
We are aware of the problems created by neighbour nuisance and antisocial behaviour and are committed to taking, whenever possible, early and effective action to prevent instances of these types of behaviour escalating.
We work in partnership with our Community Planning partners, in particular Police Scotland, in our approach to dealing with neighbour nuisance and antisocial behaviour. By taking action we hope to ensure that everyone has the right to have the peaceful enjoyment of their home.
