Mediation is a way of dealing with neighbour disputes to help those involved reach an agreement which everyone can live with. It helps people involved in a dispute resolve the problem for themselves rather than having an outside solution forced on them.
Mediation is a voluntary process which all parties must agree to. It is normally offered to low level dispute cases such as boundary disputes, noise nuisance or disputes over children or pets.
We provide an independent community mediation service. You can find out more about the service by downloading the leaflet under further information.
