Procurement strategy
We recently endorsed a new Corporate Procurement Strategy (PDF 977 KB).
The strategy brings together the latest government initiatives and our procurement priorities. We will continue to provide and arrange innovative and flexible, quality goods, works and services that are responsive to the needs of our local community and deliver optimum value for money.
The strategy also acknowledges that as a public sector body, the Council is bound by statutory public procurement regulations and supporting legislation.
It is also acknowledged that all procurement activity must also conform to the processes and governance as detailed in the Council’s Financial Regulations (PDF 483 KB) and Standing Orders (PDF 261 KB) relating to Contracts.
