Our Construction Charter is designed to support fair and just construction economy and a legacy for communities from infrastructure investment.
This includes a straightforward requirement from contractors on adherence to collective agreements; committing to support the role of trade union representatives on site; delivering first class apprenticeships; and an unequivocal commitment to prevent contractors that engage in blacklisting from benefitting from any contracts as defined within The Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014.
