Our aim
Local area co-ordinators in East Ayrshire assist people of all ages with a learning disability, their family and carers, to pursue their chosen lifestyle in their own community.
What we do
A local area co-ordinator works with individuals who have a learning disability, and who are not using formal services.
We work alongside people of all ages who may need some assistance with:
- filling in forms
- social activities
- or knowing where events are taking place
We work at a pace that is right for you and your family/carers and we will meet with you at a time and place that suits you best.
Your local area co-ordinator will look at what is available for you and give current and accurate information.
