Modern Apprenticeships offer people aged over 16 the chance of paid employment linked with the opportunity to gain a qualification. Becoming a Modern Apprentice (MA) is a great way to kick start any career.

You can learn on the job, receive invaluable practical experience and work towards an industry-recognised vocational qualification, whilst getting paid. 

A Modern Apprentice is someone:

  • who is employed
  • who is learning on-the-job
  • earning a wage from day one
  • working towards an industry-recognised qualification

How to apply

To apply and be considered for any Modern Apprenticeship you must be aged between 16 and 24 years old. If you are care experienced or have a disability, you can apply up until the age of 29.
