Job Purpose
Reporting to the Depot Manager and Supervisors your primary function is to develop the skills and understanding of trainee roadworkers and modern apprentices to SVQ level 2 in Highways Maintenance. Ayrshire Roads Alliance is the lead authority and member of the Scottish Roads Training Partnership (SRTP) with the objective to provide a collaborative approach of roadworker training with participating Scottish Councils. You will participate in delivering road worker training in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Ayrshire Roads Alliance Service Plan and the Community Plan.

Additional Information
This is a permanent full time post. The main base for this post will be Gauchalland Roads depot, Galston, however the postholder will be required to work throughout East & South Ayrshire.
Hours of work are 37 hours per week Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm & Friday 8am - 3.30pm.
Annual salary £28,437 - £30,822
