In all our new build properties, we look to provide homes that are future proofed in terms of kitchens, bathrooms, living space and garden areas.
Housing for varying needs
The new build properties have been developed in accordance with the principles of Housing for Varying Needs (HfVN). This incorporates barrier free access to at least one dwelling entrance, access footpaths within private garden areas and around blocks in compliance with stated maximum gradients. Furniture requirements and associated activity are incorporated within each dwelling. Enhanced provision within wheelchair and amenity house types as stipulated in HfVN guidance.
Secure by design
Our development proposals have incorporated the principles of 'Secure by Design'. This requires consideration of aspects such as lighting, boundary treatments and door and window specifications, whilst placing an emphasis on passive surveillance and overlooking to enhance safety and minimise opportunities for crime.
