The following traffic signs are examples of those which would need to be displayed within each zone of the proposed residents' permit parking scheme in Kilmarnock should the scheme go ahead.
Example sign at every vehicle entrance to the zone (each zone will have a separate identifier F, G, H or J).
Parking bays
Example sign for all parking bays within each residents' parking zone:
- Parking from Monday to Saturday, 8am-6pm
- Permit holders F
or
- 1 hour no return within 1 hour
or
- Pay by phone or text quoting "Zone F"
Entry sign

- Controlled zone F
- No waiting - Monday to Saturday, 8am-6pm
Disabled badge holders only
Example sign at a dedicated disabled person's parking space:

Parking bays adjacent to local shops

- 30 minutes
- No return within 30 minutes
Single yellow lines
