Currently all children in P1 to P5 are entitled to universal free school meals, regardless of financial circumstances. Families on low income can apply for free school meals and milk and a grant to help towards the costs of buying school clothes for their children. 

Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria below is applicable to 2023/24 applications. Please note that applications are not processed until the end of June so please do not contact us to check on your application until after that date.
