Annual accounts

The Local Authority Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2014 require the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Finance and ICT to prepare Annual Accounts in accordance with proper accounting practices and to submit these to the Council’s appointed auditor by 30 June immediately following the financial year to which the Annual Accounts relate.

The unaudited Annual Accounts are available for public inspection for a period of 15 working days and the dates of the inspection are specified in the public notice issued by the Council 14 days prior to the commencement of the inspection period. The audit of the Annual Accounts is completed by 30 September each year.
