The Local Authority Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2014 require the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Finance to prepare Annual Accounts in accordance with proper accounting practices and to submit these to the Council’s appointed auditor by 30 June immediately following the financial year to which the Annual Accounts relate.
The audit of the Annual Accounts is completed by 30 September each year.
