The work of East Ayrshire Sports Council (EASC) is overseen by a group of council officers, elected members and volunteers from member clubs and organisations, who together form the East Ayrshire Sports Council Executive Committee.
The Executive Committee meets on a quarterly basis to discuss matters associated with the Sports Council and to consider all applications for grant aid. Volunteers from member clubs and organisations are encouraged to become executive committee members, which would be agreed at the Sports Council's Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The AGM of the Sports Council is held in May each year. At the AGM, reports are received from the Chairperson and Secretary.
The AGM is an opportunity for any affiliated club members to attend, learn about and question how the Sports Council is being run. They can comment on the annual report and statement of accounts, determine any amendments required to the constitution and rules and elect officers and the committee for the coming year.
