Our Pollution Control Team within Environmental Health is responsible for the enforcement of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 in relation to statutory nuisances.
Statutory nuisances are clearly defined in the Act and include nuisance from dust, vapour, smell, insects and artificial light sources, amongst others.
