A number of initiatives are carried out within secondary schools. These include:
- issue of ‘Your Call’, the national resource for road safety education in S1 – S3
- issue of ‘Crash Magnets’, the national resource for road safety education in S4 – S6
- arranging attendance at Reckless Driving Wrecks Lives event
- in-service training for staff
- providing road safety resources and equipment
- visits to speak with staff and pupils
- development of a strategic programmes of support involving a variety of agencies
- theatre in education productions
