Legal Solution Forum

The Legal Solution Forum seeks to offer support and practical advice to practitioners who are supporting adults at risk with mental disorder. 

Practitioners are often required to operate ‘across the Acts’, responding to risk using a comprehensive range of legislative provisions.

Forum members

  • Service Manager (Mental Health, Alcohol and Drugs and Learning Disability)
  • Mental Health Co-ordinator
  • Legal Representative

With the option to co-opt specialist advice on a case by case basis 

Referrers are required only to provide a name and SWIFT number and be prepared to discuss the details of the Adult’s circumstances and proposed Care Plan within the Forum

Note: The Emergency Out Of Hours Social Work Service is available after 5pm until 9am, Monday to Thursday and after 4pm on Friday until 9am on Monday (throughout the weekend). It is also available during public holidays. You will be put through to the Ayrshire Social Work out of Hours Response Service. A qualified Social Worker will assess the circumstances referred.
