Building Standards customer analysis

Whether you are a householder doing a simple alteration or a large scale developer, our Building Standards service guides will guide you through the Building Warrant process.

For every project, no matter the scale, you must have an approved Building Warrant and Acceptance of Completion Certificate to check that the proposed works are carried out properly and the building is safe to be occupied.

We use customer feedback to identify areas whether or not the system is achieving its aim. This feedback helps us to introduce improvements to our service.

As part of our commitment to continuous improvement in the Building Warrant process, we encourage anyone who uses our service to provide feedback to Building Standards Manager once their Building Warrant and Acceptance or Completion Certificate have been issued.

You can provide this feedback using the pre-paid envelope issued with the questionnaire at each decision stage and give comments about whether the service met your expectations.
