To minimise income loss to the Council, prompt and effective action is taken to recover rent arrears. Garage site and lock-up rent arrears are dealt with separately from tenants' rent accounts.
Eviction action is taken when garage site and lock up rent arrears recovery procedures have been implemented in full and failed. We do not need to seek a court order to evict from a garage site or lock-up.
