Each school keeps a record of every pupil's educational progress and development.  We must keep pupil records for five years after the child has left school, although if a child changes school, then a copy of his/her record will also be transferred to the new school. 

Parents/carers have the right to examine their child's educational records, which are available to inspect in school.  If you wish to see your child's records, you should contact the school to make an appointment.  The records must be made available to you within 15 school days of the request for this information.
