All educational establishments have policies in place for promoting positive behaviour. Schools will work in partnership with parents/carers, when any concerns or difficulties arise.
We will only use exclusion (depending on the nature of the incident) as a last resort. A letter is sent to parents/carers and to the young person concerned, explaining that he/she has been excluded, with the reasons detailed. Information on how to appeal is also given.
