The statutory consultation on Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) in East Ayrshire Council is now open.
Education authorities have a statutory duty under the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014 to consult with a representative group of parents and carers with children under school age in their area about how they should make ELC available.

The consultation was open for three weeks from Tuesday 31 May until Tuesday 21 June 2022.
