Proposal
The Developer Contributions supplementary guidance (PDF 3.43 MB) sets out the basis for a comprehensive, consistent and transparent approach to implementing the Council’s developer contributions policy relating to all development.
The purpose of this supplementary guidance is to set out the methodology employed in calculating the level of developer contribution which may be required as a result of new development.
It provides detailed guidance to landowners, developers and others involved in the planning process as to when and where developer contributions are likely to be required and identifies a number of known projects towards which contributions will be directed.
The guidance will support the East Ayrshire Local Development Plan 2.
Consultation
The consultation is open from Friday 5 April until Friday 3 May 2024.
