Darvel and District Community Council
Notice is hereby given that the Election of Community Councillors to Darvel and District Community Council proposed to take place on Wednesday 24 June 2026 at 7pm in Darvel Church Hall, Darvel, has been cancelled, due to insufficient nominations being received.
Further arrangements will be made at a later date for the holding for the four Yearly Election of Community Councillors to Darvel and District Community Council and will be the subject of public notification at that time.

Closing date for nominations: Thursday 11 June 2026
Members of the public residing within the area of Netherthird and District Community Council are invited to come along on the evening and vote for the candidates of their choice.
To be able to stand for or vote in the election, members of the public will require to be listed in the Electoral Register for the area of the Community Council. Voting on the evening will only take place should the election result in a ballot.
