Research your family from 1553 to the present day for only £15 per day.

The Burns Monument Centre in Kilmarnock provides access to Scottish records covering almost 500 years.

Using the ScotlandsPeople software available at the centre you can access:

  • statutory birth, death and marriage records from 1855 to the present day as well as census records
  • old parish records
  • wills and testaments
  • various minor records

Whether you are just starting to look into your family or you are a professional researcher, the resources at the Burns Monument Centre are invaluable, including friendly staff available to help.

The £15 fee gives you full‑day access to a computer and the ScotlandsPeople system, which is cheaper than buying credits and using the system at home.
